YVR Building Care focuses deliberately on three service lines. We don’t try to be a one-stop shop for every trade under the sun — we do commercial cleaning, strata and condo maintenance, and general handyman work exceptionally well, so property managers can hand over a building and trust that it’s being cared for without constant follow-up.

Every engagement starts the same way: a walkthrough, a written scope, and a flat-rate quote before any work is scheduled. You approve the plan, the price, and the start date — no vague hourly estimates, no padded line items, no surprise invoices.

Commercial Cleaning & Janitorial Services

Consistent, checklist-driven cleaning programs for offices, retail, medical, and mixed-use buildings across Metro Vancouver.

Dependable common-area care for strata councils and condo boards — one accountable team instead of five different phone numbers.

  • Garbage, recycling, and organics room cleaning and deodorizing

Handyman & Small Building Repairs

The small fixes that aren't worth calling a specialist for — done right, on time, and without a three-week lead.

  • Drywall patching, priming, and paint touch-ups
  • Door hardware, hinges, closers, and lock repairs
  • Cabinet, shelf, and fixture installation
  • Minor plumbing — faucets, toilets, supply lines, angle stops
  • Minor electrical — outlets, switches, light fixtures

What every engagement includes

Regardless of which service line you’re working with us on, the following baseline is built into every YVR Building Care contract. These aren’t add-ons — they’re how we run.

A written scope before we start

Every recurring contract gets a task-level checklist specific to your building. Every one-off job gets a written quote with scope boundaries. No verbal promises — if it’s not on paper, it’s not in the price.

Photo-documented condition reports

Monthly condition reports with photos of cleaned areas, repaired fixtures, and any issues we spot along the way. Drop them straight into your council package or property-management file.

Employee crews, not gig workers

Every person on site is an employee, background-checked, trained to our standards, and in branded uniforms. We don’t subcontract out cleaning routes or repair visits.

Transparent, flat-rate pricing

We price the scope, not the clock. Recurring contracts are monthly flat rates; one-off jobs are fixed-fee quotes. If scope changes, we stop and confirm before billing more.

Fully insured, WorkSafeBC registered

$5M general liability coverage, WorkSafeBC good-standing, and active bonding. Certificates available on request for your council package or property file.

Local accountability

The person who quotes your work supervises it. No call-centre ticket handoffs, no international dispatch — the buck stops with a real Vancouver-based manager you can call.
