Commercial & Strata Pressure Washing
In a climate this wet, moss and algae grow on concrete, pavers and stairs faster than most people expect — and they make surfaces slippery. Scheduled pressure washing keeps walkways and entrances safer, protects surfaces and makes a property look cared for.
We match pressure and method to the surface: lower pressure and soft-wash methods for pavers, wood, painted surfaces and siding, and more aggressive cleaning for plain concrete. Work is planned around foot traffic, parking and quiet hours.
Wash water matters. Municipal bylaws prohibit sending contaminated water into storm drains — the City of Vancouver's Sewer and Watercourse By-law is one example — so we plan containment for each site. Pressure washing can also be restricted during water-restriction stages, so we check the current rules before booking.

Pricing
How quotes are priced
Pressure washing is quoted as a fixed price per visit once we've seen the site. Price depends on:
Recurring visits before and after the wet season tend to be faster — and so cheaper per visit — than waiting until surfaces are badly overgrown.

Pressure Washing questions
When is the best time of year to pressure wash?
Late spring to early fall, when surfaces dry quickly. Many buildings book once before the wet season to clear moss and algae, and again in spring.
Can pressure washing damage surfaces?
It can if the pressure is wrong for the material. We use lower pressure or soft-wash methods on pavers, wood, painted surfaces and siding, and test a small area before doing large sections.
Where does the wash water go?
Not into storm drains. Wash water can carry dirt, oils, metals and detergents, and municipal bylaws prohibit discharging contaminated water to storm sewers, so we plan containment for each site.
Can you pressure wash during water restrictions?
It depends on the restriction stage in effect. Regional and municipal water restrictions can limit pressure washing in drier months, so we check the current rules for your municipality before scheduling.
